I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Marketing Management at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. My research focuses on issues related to new media and the Internet, as well as the entertainment industry.

I received my Ph.D. from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. Before I entered academia, I was a consultant and software engineer in the Seattle area during the original dot-com bubble, having worked on projects for Microsoft, BP, and AT&T Wireless, and the U.S. Government.
